UPSRTC increases bus fares for Lucknow, Mathura, Kanpur, and Gurugram

Agra: The Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) has increased the bus fares for various destinations including Lucknow, Mathura, Kanpur, and Gurugram. The new fares have come into effect from April 1, 2023.

According to the new fare list, the minimum fare for a non-AC bus on the Lucknow-Agra route has been increased from Rs 95 to Rs 110. Similarly, the fare for a non-AC bus from Agra to Kanpur has been increased from Rs 146 to Rs 170. The fare for a non-AC bus from Agra to Gurugram has been increased from Rs 370 to Rs 430.

For the AC bus services, the fare for a bus from Agra to Kanpur has been increased from Rs 220 to Rs 255, while the fare for a bus from Agra to Lucknow has been increased from Rs 370 to Rs 430. The fare for a bus from Agra to Gurugram has been increased from Rs 660 to Rs 765.

The UPSRTC has attributed the fare hike to the increasing cost of fuel and maintenance. The last fare hike for UPSRTC buses was in August 2021.

Passengers are advised to check the new fare list before booking their tickets to avoid any inconvenience.
