Three killed, five injured in car accident in Hathras, Uttar Pradesh

Hathras: Three people were killed and five were injured in a car accident in the Hathras district of Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday. The accident took place when a car returning from a wedding collided with a tree.

According to the police, the accident occurred near the Isanagar area of the district. The car was returning from a marriage ceremony when it collided with a tree, resulting in the deaths of three people on the spot. Five others were seriously injured and were immediately taken to the nearby hospital for treatment.

The deceased were identified as Sonu (25), Pankaj (22) and Vipin (23), all residents of Hathras district. The injured, identified as Rinku, Ramchandra, Mohit, Vipin, and Jitendra, are currently being treated at the hospital. The condition of two of the injured is said to be critical.

The police reached the spot after receiving the information about the accident and took possession of the damaged car. The bodies of the deceased were sent for post-mortem examination.

The cause of the accident is yet to be ascertained, but it is believed that the driver lost control of the vehicle due to speeding. The police are investigating the case and further details are awaited.
