Lucknow: Six people died in a tragic accident on Thursday in Balrampur, Uttar Pradesh. The incident occurred on the Balrampur-Utraula road, when a jeep collided with a truck.
According to reports, the jeep was travelling from Ramanujganj to Balrampur, while the truck was coming from the opposite direction. The collision was so strong that the jeep was completely destroyed, killing all six passengers on board.
Upon receiving the information, the police reached the spot and took control of the situation. The bodies were sent for post-mortem examination and an investigation has been launched into the cause of the accident.
The incident has once again highlighted the issue of road safety in India, with many accidents occurring due to reckless driving and poor road conditions. Authorities need to take stricter measures to ensure the safety of commuters on the roads.
