BJP slams Samajwadi Party for instigating violence in PM Modi’s Kanpur rally
BJP today came down heavily on Samajwadi Party claiming that SP students wing tried to instigate violence in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Kanpur rally. Talking to reporters in New Delhi, while citing media reports, party spokesperson Sambit Patra said, a car with banners of BJP was burnt by Samajwadi party student wing leaders before the rally in the city and video of that incident was made viral.
He said, later it came to light that the owner of the vehicle was a Samajwadi Party leader. He alleged that by circulating such video, Samajwadi Party was trying to instigate violence and disturb the rally. Mr Patra said that this exposed the hooliganism of Samajwadi Party.
